  1. Close all of the passenger compartment doors.
  2. Turn ON the ignition switch.
  3. Wait 5 seconds. Then turn OFF the ignition switch.

The following systems operate for approximately 10 minutes:

    • The radio
    • The power windows
    • The sunroof (if equipped)
    • The cellular telephone (if equipped)

Retained Accessory Power (RAP) Inoperative

  1. Turn ON the ignition switch.
  2. Wait 5 seconds. Then turn OFF the ignition switch.
  3. Open a passenger compartment door.
  4. Repeat the previous steps with each door.

The following systems operate until a passenger compartment door is opened:

    • The radio
    • The power windows
    • The sunroof (if equipped)
    • The cellular telephone (if equipped)
